2 Forms were sent home today:

#1 - EQAO practice booklet form ($4) - a 116pg booklet that the students will greatly benefit from in preparation for the assessment in May. The sooner the booklet is purchased, the better.

#2 - Parent-Teacher interview form - term 2 interviews are not mandatory but may be requested by parents if I have not already done so. Please return the form as soon as possible to secure the time slot you want.

The Olympic Torch

The Torch is here!
Our class is trying to raise funds for Free the Children by giving students of Clairlea the oportunity to have their photo taken with the torch for only $2.
Please help us build a school in Africa and send in your toonies today!

Practice Practice Practice!

As you may already know, our class will be taking part in the spring concert this year whose date is set for Thursday, April 22nd. As that may seem like a long time from now, practice time during school hours will be limited due to time and space. So please allow your child to seek out and practice our routine on YouTube.com - “Evolution of Dance”. Essentially we are doing this gentleman’s routine and its going to be SO much fun.

Candy Grams

Mrs. Hawkins grade 5 class is asking that each class contribute 5-10 bags of candy to the Valentines Day Haiti fundraiser. If you can, send in a bag of candy as soon as possible so the candy grams can be put together. These will go on sale next Thursday and Friday. Thanks in advance for your contributions!
