Science Link

In science this term, we have been studying structures, specifically, what makes them strong and stable!
This in an interactive link which would be useful for students to visit and play around with in their free time.
When  you visit the site, there will be 4 labs to choose from - Forces Lab, Materials Lab, Shapes Lab and Loads Lab.  Visit all 4 to gain further understanding of the factors that influence strength and stability in structures.

Math Site - Interactive Activity

Here is a link to a site that covers most of the grade 3 math curriculum. Thank you to Alex's mom for recommending it!  It is not a game site but rather a question-answer site.  I'm recommending that all students use this site as a review to what they have learned this year.  Being able to answer the questions correctly and independently is a good sign. A pencil and paper comes in handy to figure out some of the answers.
There are some concepts we have not covered yet, so do not fret....Fractions, 3D geometry, division and multiplication are still to come! The only downfall to the site is there is a daily limit on how many questions one can answer.  They will then ask you to register in order to attempt more questions.

One FUN but RARE afternoon

Preyoms work is almost finished ...  :(

Alian..the twister master.  Zayan approves.

Even when in a time out, Josh still manages to enjoy himself.

Another time out proves to be a happy time...who knew?

Splitsville

Calli - all smiles with her stuffie and purse!

Joelle ... a Fantastic Hoola-Hooper!

Good Friends

Sebastian is a little less enthused during his time out.

Hafsa and Jaden love this job!

 hmmm...now what?

There are MANY pieces missing from this game...yet, imagination and creativity prevails!
