Coming Home...

I gave out a little gift to everyone today - a note book with a special message inside along with a photo and a personal award.  The notebook I hope, will be put to good use as the kids will hopefully keep writing this summer so not to get rusty.

As well, I prepared a grade 3 math review package.  It does not need to come back however, the kids should take a stab at it this summer. Good luck! I'm sure all our hard work paid off.

AWO has been wearing this ALL week! Lol!

Cursive Homework

This week we are wrapping up cursive writing.  This weeks homework focus will be on the capital letters.  This is due Thursday.  No other homework will be coming home this week.

POPCORN! POPCORN! GET YOUR POPCORN!

You may know that the grade threes were raising money this week to cover the cost of our bus to pioneer village.
Well, it was a great success. Three days of popcorn sales brought in enough to cover the cost and then some. The left over money will go towards a year end pizza party!

We started a new unit today and it's PROBABILITY! (One of the more easy-to- undestand math strands).
Homework is all about using the proper words when deciding an events likeliness of occurring.  This is due tomorrow!

This young lady camee in 2nd place at the Birchmount Track and field event today. Standing long jump is her event and she rocked it! Way to go Abby!

Everyone is asked to take a stab at writing an announcement for our upcoming fund raiser. We will be selling popcorn next week to  pay for the bus that took us to pioneer village.
We will be making an announcement at the end of the day tomorrow to inform the school when the sales begin and how much the popcorn costs.

Why: to help fund our bus for a trip

- we are half way through our presentations! So far, so good. I'm looking forward to seeing the other half.
